My Story: Why I Created The Center for Biblical Clarity

I was raised in a Christian home where faith was an important part of daily life. My parents faithfully took our family to church three times each week, and from an early age I was taught to believe in God, respect the Bible, and value Christian living.

I am deeply grateful for that foundation. It gave me a love for Scripture and a desire to know God. However, as I grew older, I began to realize that believing the Bible and understanding the Bible are not always the same thing.

At age 17, I decided to read the Bible more carefully for myself. As I did, I began noticing passages that seemed different from what I was hearing taught in church. I wasn’t looking for reasons to disagree with anyone. In fact, I assumed that church teachings and the Bible would always say the same thing. But the more I read, the more questions I had.

What began as a simple desire to understand God’s Word soon became a journey that would shape the course of my life.

As I continued reading the Bible for myself, I discovered something surprising. When I set aside traditions and simply followed the flow of Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation—the Bible often seemed to say something different than what I had been taught.

At first, I assumed I must be misunderstanding the text. But the more I studied, the more I realized that many sincere Christians had never examined certain doctrines in their full biblical context.

I found that many teachings commonly accepted in modern Christianity were based largely on church tradition, later theological developments, or assumptions brought to the text rather than drawn directly from it.

This realization led me on a lifelong pursuit of biblical truth.

Some of the questions that first challenged me are the same questions many readers ask today:

• What really happens when we die?
• Is the soul inherently immortal?
• Is hell a place of eternal conscious torment?
• Did Jesus abolish God’s law?
• Was the Sabbath changed from the seventh day to Sunday?
• What is the Kingdom of God?
• Did the early Church continue to observe the biblical holy days?
• Are Christmas and Easter rooted in biblical practice?
• What foods did God design for human consumption?
• Who are God’s covenant people today?

As I searched the Scriptures, I discovered a remarkable truth: the Bible tells one unified story.

The Old Testament and New Testament do not contradict one another. Rather, they reveal God’s plan progressively. The teachings of Jesus and the apostles build upon the foundation laid by Moses, the prophets, and the writings. When viewed as a single, unified message, many difficult questions begin to make sense.

I learned the importance of reading verses in context, comparing Scripture with Scripture, and allowing the Bible to interpret itself. Instead of beginning with theological systems or denominational traditions, I learned to ask a simple question:

“What does the Bible actually say?”

That question changed the way I studied God’s Word forever.

The journey has not always been easy. Challenging long-held beliefs requires humility, patience, and a willingness to follow the truth wherever it leads. Yet I have found that God’s Word consistently rewards those who seek Him with an open Bible and an open mind.

Over the years, I have become convinced that many sincere believers are searching for the same answers I once sought. They love God. They respect the Bible. But they have questions that deserve careful, honest examination from Scripture.

That is why I created The Center for Biblical Clarity.

The purpose of this website is not to attack people, denominations, or traditions. My goal is much simpler: to help people discover what the Bible actually teaches.

I believe God’s Word is clear when we allow it to interpret itself. I believe sincere believers should never be afraid to examine their beliefs in the light of Scripture. And I believe truth matters because truth brings us closer to God.

Whether you agree with every conclusion presented on this website or not, my prayer is that these articles encourage you to open your Bible, study diligently, and prove all things for yourself.

If my journey has taught me anything, it is that God’s truth can withstand examination. The more carefully we study His Word, the more clearly we see His purpose, His plan, and His instructions for humanity.
