Fear of accidentally receiving the mark can distract Christians from the actual warning.

Christians should study Scripture carefully so they understand God’s truth before deception intensifies.
They should develop the habit of obeying God now rather than assuming they will suddenly become courageous during a future crisis.
Jesus warned:
“Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4).

Revelation 19 describes Jesus Christ returning in power and defeating the Beast and the false prophet.
The kingdoms of this world will not last forever.
The Kingdom of God will.
